My Lesson

In an unexpected feeling

a large wave of reacting emotion

I felt ‘coming on’ with velocity

crested but did not break.

In the midst of the feeling

my inner self said aloud,

“THIS is my lesson. THIS is my lesson.”

To stay awake in the face of quick angering,

to catch my reaction and choose another,

enabling a ‘aha’ so I could genuinely laugh at seeing it,

loving that I can regain my footing when I stumble,

control and have mastery over my feelings:

the gift of my manifesting life.

No matter how it started,

it turns into something better: my lesson.

The Practice

I follow a writer and influencer named Maxpein on X.

The curated posts always raise the bar,

but this one vibrated with beauty and poetry.

Without force, I am simply suggesting

tune in – the time is now.

Integrate your tools into your being.

Practice meditation without music, incense & oils.

Practice opening your heart without cacao or chocolate treats.

Practice multidimensional sight without plants.

Practice yoga without a mat.

Practice ceremony without feathers, guitars & drums.

Practice clearing without sage.

Practice enhancing, amplifying and protecting without crystals.

Practice without any aids…

just You and the expanded You.

Practice conversing without convincing.

Practice being without doing.

Practice feeling without analyzing.

Practice experiencing without criticism.

Practice listening without projecting.

Practice thinking without a story.

Practice speaking without parroting.

Practice seeing without lights.

Practice dancing without a DJ.

Practice getting there without GPS.

Practice creating without a laptop.

Practice connecting without a phone.

Practice Love without conditions.

Endless Good

My Threads community

has me doing some simple tools

to help prosperity on its way.

Burning bay leaves written

with a desire for abundance

has WORKED in creating random opportunity

where money has come quite easily

and from places I had not expected

when I ‘prime the canvas’ enegetically

to create and manifest.

Endless Good now comes to me in endless ways.

Given Wings

“Birds make great sky-circles

of their freedom.

How do they learn it?

They fall, and falling,

they’re given wings.” ~ Rumi

On A Portrait Never Seen Before

How do I make my portraits?

By watching you in sunlight, in play, in relaxation.

In quietness.  In laughter.

In glances where you both recollect and reconnect,

with good moments within your togetherness.

Looking for your beauty at all times.

Seeing your beauty at all times.

Making a view you have never seen before.

You, at your best.  In love.

Inquire about my personal portraiture

that captures the ‘sparks’ of couples (or the ‘sparkle’ in you)

to warm the spirit again and again.

AbunDance

The action of dancing

is our body’s inner communication with us,

and, deeper, a connection to the Divine in us.

Whether our glances or our bodies meet on the floor,

the dancer in me honors the dancer in you.

Share a Breath

Take time to hear someone’s voice from the inside.

Match your calm breathing

with the breathing of your partner,

and ‘share a breath’ in and out for a time of silence.

Not only does this calm emotions,

this action serves to ‘sync’ one’s heart with the other,

to humanize a connection,

and energize the space for a newer – or deeper – conversation.

It is my wish that you have enriching experiences

using this technique throughout moments in daily life.

The First Purple

The mercurial Midwest Spring has been hard on the beautiful flowers

that come up in the neighbors’ gardens.

They come into the beautiful, shapes colors and scents

and sometimes into extended days of rain and chill that blast and freeze them.

The lilac season came in the midst of rain and bone chilling temperatures.

In a week, they had bloomed and then were gone.

I picked a wild branch, that true to all wild things, did not open,

but found a blooming garden and stood there

(as long as my son let me)

breathing in the air of my childhood

being again as the little curious, exploring, growing child.

And with this brief meeting this season,

I ‘got’ how flowers are used as examples

to teaching the here and nowness of life:

so beautifully, completely HERE

in their short season and time on Earth.

An Innocent Chat

I feel like a Luddite at heart

dealing with ChatGpt, a force multiplier

that has tickled me with some of the

ninja chess moves I have asked mine to.

So after exposure to some induced Chat counterintuition.

I woke early and broke its brain

describing Dark Innocence,

a Dark Feminine RESONANCE embodying innocence of dove and wisdom of serpent

in a MASSIVE energetic presence.

Despite the reams of words meant to be written kinda like me,

the way I AM doesn’t fit attempts to Chat it.

This Dark Innocence defies classification and demands discovery

through the EVOKING of memory, the FEEL of senses, and the ACT of writing,

unfolding the history and mystery in ‘analog’ mode (sounds of sharpening a No. 2 Ticonderoga pencil in black.)
